New British fine jewellery brand RUIFIER launched just 8 weeks ago at Claridges. The creative team is headed up by the creative director Rachel Shaw.
Based in London, RUIFIER is a brand that is passionate about design, quality and luxury. The directors travel the world to gather inspiration and source materials for future collections, whilst prioritizing their aim: to provide women with a unique piece of timeless elegance that can make them feel empowered and glamorous.
The beginnings of the brand originated with the concept of making ideas and fantasies come to life- RUIFIER is a play on the English word to REIFY, which literally means to turn a concept or an idea into a concrete tangible product.
The debut collection has 2 elements, the Icon collection which is ‘static’ and the Kinetic collection which has a completely original moving element not seen in the industry before.
The stone used seemingly ‘floats’ suspended in its setting creating the gentle, constant oscillation. This movement enables the stones to reflect more light than that of a fixed stone with visually striking affects.
Stones used are yellow, white and black diamonds, amethyst, topaz, emeralds and aquamarine.
The inspiration behind this collection came from several trips to Kenya and the ever twinkling stars in the clear night sky!
